dipping into my scrap bag, for the snow, I chose several whites (slubbed silk, linen, various kinds of cotton and cotton/linen, and cotton/lycra blends), a finely striped blue & white cotton/lycra fabric and two re-purposed items, a white silk blouse grown too small and a grey pillowcase, worn to lovely soft hand.

My latest art quilt, inspired by the winter hymn by Jean de Brebeuf called "Huron Carol"
The line, "Twas in the moon of winter time and all the geese had fled" created a very specific image in my mind, which I have translated here, in fabric.
