Thanks so much for sharing the info...cant wait to see the show. I will put the info on my blog to tell others who arent members of this group. thanks

watched the first show on silk painting last night and thought it was really good as it covered the basics..liked her big bold designs. I have done a little bit of silk painting in the past but wasnt shown how to transfer a pattern properly so I am now eager to try again..well presented and looking forward to next weeks show.just a pity its only on for half an hour

Hello everyone.
I thoroughly enjoyed the first programme which I watched on the internet in retrospect as I don't have Sky TV. It was extremely informative and relaxed and dealt with all the basics so clearly. I am sure it will have created a spark of enthusiasm for anyone who hasn't yet tried silk painting. Although I have done a small amount in the past - perhaps there is a little spark inside me too now!!
I agree with you Lorraine - I too love Jill's big bold designs.

Can't wait to see the rest of the series.

Glad you liked the episode. The half hour slot is meant to create a taster, and they are hoping for many comments with which to arm themselves so that they can appoach other mainstream TV companies. There is talk of a second series of one hour slots, so I guess it's up to us to make it happen as much as we are able. Comment either to www.colouricious.com or directly to The Country Channel.

If you haven't been able to receive the series on TV, or would like to see it again you can find instructions on where to find it here

It's worth the effort to check as there are several other videos you will want to check out!

Thanks Myfanwy for the link. I did find some very interesting videos one day and listened to the beading ones with Pam and Val - they must have been recorded quite some years ago. Still very relevant though.

It really is a case of deja vu, isn't it, Iris. Yes, they were made a while ago, but what fun!

I have just so much enjoyed your programme Myfanwy - I wanted it to continue for longer though. I shall be listening again and again I think. There was so much to learn and you gave us a great insight into dyeing. It is something I really haven't done much of so I might have to rectify that!
Thanks - Iris
