Totally agree with you Maggie, You make of the site what seems best for you perhaps. I am teaching at the Embroiderers Guild Hampton Court next Wednesday Thursday and there are still some places left if anyone is interested. Just contact the Guild. Hope you enjoy the exhibitions Maggie.

Not sure there is a "best " way. But just to use it for things that are important to you and others may like to hear about, or see, or join in,or discover.
As this is the UK section, then perhaps you might like to mention the meetings you have organised in your area, and if you would like more artists to attend. Or any exhibitions you have seen, that others might like to look at too.
I am off to Cirencester in a moment to see 2 exhibitions, one by Cleo Mussi in the Brewery arts, and the other called" impressions in Textile" at the Cotswold district council offices. There may be other artists locally who might like to see them, or have seen them and we could discuss.

Daft question here - what is the best way to use this site? Just for general chat? that can be done on facebook? to organise an event? By whom, where, when etc What is the purpose of this site?
