The prospect of four days off in a row, make me a very happy person. I finished the quilting on my acrylic on canvas piece, yesterday and am VERY happy with the results. I used a shiny piece of red satin type stuff on the back (I don't know what it was, but someone gave it to me, so it was free), and I swear that the back looks just as good as the front due to the heavy quilted texture. It started raining, yesterday and will probably rain through today. The days are warmer now, and the snow is melting. The rain is going to wash away more of the snow, and will probably cause some flooding. The traffic will slow to a crawl, as it's known to do in Toronto, but it's nice to finally hear the birds and see a few patches of grass. My camera is ready! I can hardly wait for spring.
