- Thanks for the info, Chris. I'm not sure when or where, but I may look up the book to see if it's something I could incorporate into some of my other pieces. My "thang" as it were, is to combine all kinds of techniques. I'm always on the lookout for just one more. Of course, from what I remember, my crochet wasn't all that good, so it just might be organic looking even if I try to do it properly. Hee, hee, hee....

- Now organic crochet is something I have never tried. Of course, I haven't crocheted anything since the teenage years, but it is interesting, just the same. Are there any books out or is this something you came up with on your own? BTW, thanks for the compliments on my work. As you can tell, I'm a technique junkie and love colour. I particularly love the colour red, which is a passion that I see we share. Very nice work!

Coincidence that you used to live in Sheen! I've been here for twenty years now ( I have three boys of 20,14 and 8) and really enjoy living here - park, river and London on the doorstep. Feel very lucky. Space to do things has always been limited, but this year finally had a loft conversion, so now I have an art studio, and don't have to clear everything away at mealtimes which is heaven!

Really good to meet you. I just looked at your photos and love what you're doing - such beautiful colours and the leaf is wonderful. I haven't posted any pics on here yet because I'm only just venturing into mixed media - most of work so far is pen and ink, watercolours etc. I've posted quite a few on www.milliande.ning.com Do you belong to that one too?
