Obviously I'm not terribly good at this journal thing, oh I'm sorry, Blogging thing. Not exactly knocking anyone's socks off with my witty insights. Every effort to move forward has to meet some resistance. And I'm not going to spend a great deal of time trying to figure out the psychology of this type of resistance.

Yesterday after much effort I managed to complete two hands for one of my characters in development, only to have both hands fall off the device I've rigged for them to cure on which is suppose to prevent the hands from getting flat or fuzzy spots while curing. Now I've got two "Zombie" hands, as my son, Daniel, calls them.

When I really want something I feel it all over. Right down to my toes I feel that sensation that I need to get active, that I need to be doing something about my desired outcome.

Today I really wanted to be creative. My mind was working over time on creative ideas. So many ideas I could not contain them all. However, I was also sick. So how does one go about becoming an Professional Artist? Ever since I've begun to verbalize my desire to do just that the advice has been coming to me from all directions. From relatives and friends, especially from friends who happen to be Artists.

"Do craft shows, don't do craft shows, create a website, sell your stuff on Etsy, don't bother selling your stuff on Etsy, teach, organize teachers (i.e. do an artist retreat), etc, etc, etc."
