- I am a crafter for many years now and started with art quilting in 2007. Fabric and the ways you can use it to transform it in to art interest me deeply. That is why I decided to explore this field and make it my own. In september 2007 I made my first move on this path and joined in on a quilt course for beginners.

Thanks for your comment on the cray lichen quilted piece. Much appreciated.
It started out as a photograph of lichen on the rocks which I manipulated on the computer to come up with this design. I printed it onto coated silk then free machine quilted it. The computer can give wonderful colour schemes and designs at the click of a mouse.
