- I am the mother of two grown children and the grandmother of twin girls. My love is working with fabric, dolls, embroidery of any kind. For the last while I have been experimenting with Mixed Media and Journaling. I am a member of the Oakville Stitchery Guild.

Katherine Babcock said… - I totally understand waiting - and it may not even be what you need. I love working with metal - and I've used different things to transfer to metal - but as far as printing on it, I haven't had much luck. The look of ExtravOrganza (with image printed on it) and then stuck down to metal looks cool - but it all depends on the look you want. I just like the Lazertran because it's easy and sticks to everything! It's also really easy to sew through. I'd love to see what you're working on when it's finished. :)

- Yes, not 10 minutes away from Edwards Gardens. Pretty close to the guild meeting. I learned all the rules and then I broke them. Ha, ha....

- I belong to the York Heritage Quilters Guild, the Toronto Bead Society and I'm a member of Fibre Art Studios. Of course, if you belong to the Oakville Stitchery Guild, you probably know my friends Donna Funnell and Janet Rhind. Interestingly enough, I've been invited to do a trunk show at your guild in November. If you're there, we can meet in person.
