I'm spending a little time today offering my apologies to all my Ning groups.
I joined a few groups in a fit of enthusiasm then found I couldn't devote as much time as I'd hoped to them, also found it hard to navigate and answer people, as a result I haven't been checking in or (even worse!) answering all your lovely comments.
I've been having problems with my hands this year, and pain has kept my creativity to a very low level.

New to Ning
I resisted the first mention of Ning, having just discovered Deviant Art and YouTube, and being fully engrossed with Flickr and blogging, did I really need another internet distraction?
Obviously I did, because after following a link yesterday I found myself back at Ning, and my will power was zapped....and here I am.....

My eye was caught by your machine embroidery pieces - they are lovely. So vibrant. I totally agree with your comments - I need another group like a hole in the head - but I am loving being here!

Oh dear what have you done- I was looking at your work which I like a lou especially the square piece - what a great idea.
I went on to look at your sites - first was Flickr where I saw that you too like to use a macro lens - my favourite. Everything in my garden is macro'd.
This led me to dumpr.net - easily distracted is an understatement for me - loved it - what fabuloyus pieces caould come from that. I have Photoshop and PSP8 and I collect filters - a filter junkie - but none like this one. Can see me spending time there.
I am typing this while my machine is buzzing away with some digitised pieces - allows me to do two things at once. Once they are finished the paint and other things will go over the top.
Will keep looking at your blogs etc.
