- About Me:
- I am an award winning quilt artist whose work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally and has won many prizes; most recently my quilt Tod und Leben won the Computer Design Prize at the National Quilt Championships, Sandown, June 2009. In September 2008 the same quilt won the Best Hand Workmanship prize (Innovative section) at the World Quilt and Textile show, Manchester, NH, USA and in August 2007 my quilt Waves of Anger won this same prize at the same event. My wallhanging Foxfires won the European Quilt Championships, Oct. 2006 and my quilt Waterrings won the Scottish Quilt Championships in 1998 I've also become known for my ATCs and mixed media work, winning Best of Show for my Enduring, Unending ATC in the House of Cards exhition, Columbus, Ohio, 2005. My mixed media work has been published in Craft Stamper, ARTspeciallyforYou ,Quilting Arts,Somerset Studio, Somerset Gallery and Sew Somerset as well as Stitch, Classic Stitches, Popular Patchwork, Patchwork & Quilting and Fabrications, My quilts have also been featured in a variety of books.
