THIS IS MY COUNTRY CHILE. Just look at the map. We are these colors, we are Nature, we are wood and seashells and the long range of mountains. This is brilliant!

Hi Helen, a few months ago you and I exchanged a few words regarding trading some ATC's. I have finally made some and wonder if you have any you might like to trade with me? You can see mine in my photos here on FA/MM. If you have any with your seashore themes, I would especially love to trade for one like that.
Cheers,
Jan

Thanks for the compliments Helen. The sizes vary from 14" x18" about 26"x40". I have started to make me less than 18"x20" to fit into a ready made frame. I can use a TV tray or slightly larger area. I am happy to "Wow" you. Smiles, Diana

Hi Diana,
Thank you! Your portraits are amazing - they look huge - how do you manage it? They have a real 'wow' factor!

Helen

Hi Helen. I am so impressed with your work. It looks romantically organic and peaceful. How beautiful. I have given you a heart on Etsy. Lovely, Diana

Hey Helen your work would look sensational with felt. You could get so many tones and textures happening in the background to complement the front layers even more. Not that they need any improvement anyway.. I am experimenting with grass seeds and stringy bark in my felt at the moment, the sorts of things most people pick out of their wool. I still have not got around to stitching sticks or rocks onto my felt. I just wet felt everything into the felt and the felt holds it in. Trouble is you dont see the finished picture until the end. Looking forward to seeing some of your work with felt. Teresa

Hi Helen
I adore your work. Your use of texture is AMAZING. You have used such soft colours and tones it is really beautiful. I love the beach and I wish that I lived closer to it. Teresa

Hello Helen
Your work is amazing, the fibres and textures and colours and tones are wonderful. And I love the way you use things from the beach. I wish that I lived nearer to the ocean. Regards Teresa

Hi Helen, I have been thinking about that you said you like my piece Pause and I wondered if you would like to trade me something for it? It is listed on my Etsy site Laughingdogarts.etsy.com if you need to refresh your memory. I would trade for whatever you think would be a good trade but I would be hoping it would be something along the lines of your sea themed pieces. What do you think?

thank you :) I used a 2-ply which made the tissue a little stronger. The gal that taught me how to do it, she waits until the tissue has dried a little before removing it from the stamp. I'm too impatient to wait, so I slowly and gently lift it from the stamp then place it on wax paper onto a cookie sheet so if I need to move the tissue casts from one place to another I can with no problems & if you're in a real hurry, you can dry them in the oven at a very low temperature. Hope you have as much fun at making these as I have.
