Hello fellow artists and art lovers!
Many of you know me, some do not. So, a quick introduction: My name is Jacquie Stone

I LOVE THIS! I have one of those plastic veggie holders to, (probably the same one). I keep moving it around because it takes up too much room in the cabinet and I also never use it.

I use vintage fabric scraps that I get from a clothing designer. She wraps little bundles of scraps with rubber bands and throws them in a big box for me. It's so much fun to go through and feels like Christmas when I get them!

- Hi Jacquie,
Thank you! The fan is made from silk paper - I dyed the fibres and made the paper. It was then heavily machine stitched and beaded.

- Hi Bina, I also an fuzzy, but I have to say I do not remember those names. Your name does sound familiar though and unfortunately, I cannot place your face. That's what comes with being 47! Anyway, it would be great to share stories, art, etc. Maybe something will ring a bell eventually!

Bina Eisenberg said… - Your name sounds so familiar to me, it was 10 years ago so I am a bit fuzzy. Then I was known as "Davina Holmes". (Went through a lot of changes and spiritual transformations since then. I am still occasionally in touch with Yvie Raij, if you remember her and spoke with Burt Stabler once, dont know if you remember those folks!

- Wonderful website Jacquie. I was wondering if you look familiar to me. I lived in Chicago for about 5 years and am also an alumni of SAIC. I was in the fiber arts department when Ingrid Bachman was there, but mostly at that time in sculpture and ceramics. That was 1997.
