- About Me:
- I am interested in beading - jewelry making - fiber arts and photography. Six years ago I was diagnosed with a terminal lung disease. I had just moved, with my husband to Colorado. In the midst of all the turmoil of moving 1000 miles away, we had my health to deal with. I have done very well for the past 6 years but within the last year have become more housebound. I am hoping this will change in the near future as I work with some new medications.
I let a lot of my interest drift to the side for a good long time. Other than Photography. On my website, there are many pictures I have taken while out and about, in Colorado.
A short time ago - maybe six months, a friend introduced me to a web site whick rekindled some of my love of beading, jewelry making, sewing, and incorporating them all together withink wall hangings. I then discovered the hand dyed postcards and since I do much of my crafting in my bedroom in bed at my hospital table. The size was perfect and not cumbersome. So we organized my supplies and now I am waking up every day eager to create. It keeps my mind off problems and my hands busy. I have been enjoying it immensely and meeting some nice people online. It's been a long time since I was diligent about my crafts and I am learnign a lot of new ideas and use of materials. I am looking forward to learning and sharing with everyone on Fiber Arts/ Mixed Media.
