- About Me:
- I am a Felt maker and Textile Artist and have a love of fibres. I work mainly with felt but not exclusively. I enjoy dyeing fibres and experimenting with colour, particularly muted subtle shades.
I have just moved into my new workshop in Dalby Forest, near Pickering, North Yorkshire. I am offering tuition and workshops as well as selling my finished work and hand dyed fibres. I welcome visitors, check first if travelling far.
I run regular feltmaking workshops locally and visit other groups to provide workshops.
I will be selling at "Flare" Christmas Markets in North Yorkshire 2009.

Don't I wish there were groups in Whitby!? I feel like a voice crying in the wilderness here - I've tried and tried to look into any sewing groups around and toyed with the idea f starting one. There's Raw fibres felting who do or did the occasional workshop at Robin Hoods Bay. Seems like either a creative void or closed groups who don't want any "fresh blood". Don't mean to sound negative - what a lovely and artistically inspiring area we live in!
