I had a look at the Milliande site - it looks good so will join that when I have a few minutes - thanks very much for giving me the link.
You must be really busy with three boys - I could only just cope with two! They're 25 and 23 now.
How lovely to have your loft as a studio now. That must make such a difference! I still have to put all my stuff away, but I do have a large kitchen diner now (we moved last December) so can spread out a bit when I'm feeling creative!
When I lived in East Sheen I used to go to Richmond Park quite a lot at weekends, I loved it there. I worked in central London at the time so preferred some green space at weekends. You're right though, it's really convenient for everything.
Your arts group sounds interesting. I love going to the theatre, I don't go half as much as I'd like to these days though.
How does the group journalling work? I've never done art journalling although seeing so many pictures on this site is making me think it would be fun to try. Do you share ideas and materials or just get together to chat while you're creating? I love getting together with people to be creative. I ran some art/craft classes last year - just half a dozen people - I really must get round to organising some more.
What kind of painting do you do? I tend to stick to acrylics these days but I used to love doing watercolour.
Oh dear, I've really waffled on here - sorry! That's the trouble with being chatty and curious.... I'll sign off now.
Have a great weekend,
Chris
Thanks for your lovely comments - I'll look forward to seeing your photos later!
I'll have a look at the other site you mention too - anything that supports us has got to be good. I've just found out when you reply to a comment on here, you can't see what you're replying to - hence 'other site', I can't remember what you said it was called! Something to remember in future....
'Speak' again soon, take care,
Chris
