WOW! I love it - and how you recycled (or "upcycled" lol) everything. I have all these little do-dad things I've kept in drawers for forever and a day...and now I know what I'm going to do with them! Do you think acrylic caulk would hold the same ...
Did you use a mold for the face - or freehand it? I love the dimension and depth to this piece. Air dry clay is awesome - it's so similar to polymer clay in how it acts and responds, but it's so lightweight that it isn't an issue adding it to anyt...
This is gorgeous! It's amazing what a few supplies will do for something like a wooden pot. Before I read your description I thought you'd made a bowl out of polymer clay. This is really pretty.

I love this! I always start to keep my thread and bits of fiber so I can make something with them...but then it never happens. After seeing your gorgeous work, I'm inspired! :)

Welcome! Thanks for stopping by. Since I am a harried, lost my sanity, art obsessed single mom, there is no way I can keep up with more than one blog. I have a hard enough time keeping up with one! Truth is, between three cats, three kids, my art, and a turtle, I have a hard time just shaving my legs! I'm sure that has nothing to do with me moving the shaving cream from the bathroom to my studio...

- Hi,
I did get another answer about metal from Sharon (another Canadian). I'm in the middle of a on-line class which is taking a lot of my free time so have not moved a head on ordering the metal foil.
