- About Me:
- I'm a fiber artist in the making. My 1st try at "fiber art" was in 1974. Combining inexpensive muslin, embroidery thread and creative thinking, I made a baby quilt for a family friend who was expecting her 8th child! I believe she still has the quilt and the child is now an adult.
Anyhow the journey has lasted a number of years as I have made several quilts and expanded my base of knowledge with regard to fiber art. However I am still learning and experimenting. Ideas are ALWAYS rolling around in my head.
Right now I am working on a quilt of blues and greens that I just liked. It isn't anything speacial but I like it. As soon as it is completed I will put up a photo.
I have also done a few fiber art post cards, some of which I have sold at a local boutique. They were alot of fun to do. Instant gratification!
