About Me:

I am a mixed media artist. I started out as a decorative painter. I love textiles , fiber, beads, old vintage materials, and texture. I love making art dolls it allows me to do all the things I love doing including sculpting. I love trying new products and techniques because they will probably find a way into my next project.

This is one of my Marsh Fairies. The face is sculpted with paperclay. The body is cloth over a wire armature.The face is handpainted. She is embelished with beads, shells and vintage finds. I made the wings. She is holding beautiful piece of driftwood. Her hair is a combination of fibers.
