Hi. I am primarily an artist in hand made felt, but I have used free weaving, knitting, and embroidery in my pieces also. I have never done any art journaling but I hope that this group will be an inspiration!

I like your use of wrapping. Did you use felt in this piece? The colors are also interesting. They look very nature inspired -- something that continues to be an interest of mine. Lovely work.

I do nature inspired wall pieces in hand-dyed, hand made felt, often with embroidery. I would be interested in a discussion with anyone who is doing this kind of art work. I have a page on Facebook also.

- I am returning to doing fiber art after working outside the home for thirteen years. I prefer working in felt. I also enjoy figure drawing. My fiber pieces have always been tied to nature, my greatest inspiration.

The tissue over foil was sprayed with Moonshadow mist Landlubber green over Adirondack raisin colourwash
