- Quilting since the 70's, off and on. I enjoy all aspects of quilting/fiber arts. enjoy embellishments when inspired. quilt or "play" most days - retired - like machine embroidery and hand quilting.... married - Have no pets as we travel quite a bit, if just to see family. My "studio" is the normal quilters "mess" Have a weekly sewing group and we do Hospice quilts for our local house...along with our own projects...Lately, I have been into dying fabric and using paintsticks. Attempting to get into more "art" than "traditional".
