Mary Schwarzenberger said… - No, you can't. The wheel is unable to turn with all the stuff on it. It weighs a ton, since it's a metal machine. I'm still paying the price for hoisting it onto the back of a truck to get to my quilt show. I won't do that again!

Glad you like my machine! I got the idea from Bernina educators who did some to auction off for charity. It was a blast to do! It's not even finished yet. I consider it a work in progress.

Constanza Berger said… - I will certainly come. Anything I need to buy in advance? I know I need some sort of burlap and a special hook. The wools are a little harder to figure out. Just e-mail me and I'll come up. I have a friend I can spend the night with up there so I don't have to drive back at night; I don't like to drive at night. Directions and a phone number would be great too. Thanks for the info, can't wait.
