I was looking at your web site with all of the beautiful photos of both your home and garden, and the fantastic things you have made. I also have many, many books on crazy quilting. I collect vinatage textiles and vintage buttons. One of the things I plan to make soon is a button quilt. I thought it would be a nice way to display my button collection. My only concern is that since I am not planning to stop buying more buttons :o) I need to make the quilt expandable. I was thinking maybe make little 8x8 quilts and then just attach them together with an overcast stich with floss, or maybe putting small grommets in each corner and attaching them that way? I don't know, I'll have to make up some practice blocks and try different ways of attaching them together. Well see.
