I make gifts every year - this year I will just be baking, sharing cookies and fudge. But this year I am painting/drawing my Christmas cards - most with puppies and dogs on them - to help me in my self-challenge to paint/draw/quilt 1001dogs!

Nice idea and I like the idea of giving some to Hospice. I had thought of making bibs and giving them to a nursing home. Michele

Hi Sue, I have just been invited to join this site and am delighted to see that you are also on it. It is lovely to be able to link up with other like minded people around the world. I am looking forward to seeing my bag in the next edition of Fibre and Stitch and have just recommended it to someone else on my friends list.

Hi Sue, Just to let you know I have been telling everyone I chat with about your mIxed media class. Tonight I am working on my box from Lesson 2, but I took time to make a padfolio!!! with the same fabric paper! At my local Fabricland they are so curious about what I am doing. I went in today to stock up on cheesecloth, black felt, silk duponi and notions all for 40% off! The silk is so yummy. I wish they stocked Mistyfuse! I am trying to finish these projects to share with my stitchery guild on Monday night, they will be so intrigued!!!! I am on the program committee and I can see MIxed Media on our agenda for next year. This year we are making bags called Bag-a-tell, the invention of a lovely artist named Sybil. She creates bags that contain a treasure of some kind inside that tell a story! We are also working in sketchbooks as a guild project ( my idea ). This all leads to why I am chatting to you, I posted as a member to the Journaling group on FAMM. You might want to join this group, I know you would have alot to offer! Must go, back to work on my box, your friend from Ontario, Donna
