- I qualified as a textile artist with a BA Hons in textiles from Goldsmith London back in 1992 Since then I have been teaching art in schools. I am now at home because of ill health but it is giving me more time to work on my art work. I make hand made wet and dry felt. I hand and machine embroider I also spin my own yarns and I am experienced in crochet and knitting as well as a little needlpoint lace. In actual fact I dabble in all sorts of other crafts too. My art is my life without it I wouldn't be who I am. Well that's enough about me.

Textile Challenge Site has moved to a blog come take a look.

I have been running a challenge site for some time now but I began to realise how unfriendly the Yahoo site was for us artists. It just doesn't present our work well and so I decided to move it to a blog. It is now to be found at : http://triciastextileforum.blogspot.com/ We are taking new members so if you are interested do pop along and all you have to do is email me for an invitation to join us. New Textile Challenge Site
Hi there all, well, you might already be aware that I have started a new challenge site, it is called Tricia's Textile Challenge. We have 15 members to date and we're doing fine, there are some very talented people already on this site so it's quite exciting, go take a look and if you'd like to join let us know.

New Textile Challenge Site
Hi there,
If you're needing another challenge then come along and take a look at mine. I have decided to open one myself. I thought that it would be lots of fun. The address is:

Thanks for your concern about the wildfire situation. I'm going back up there today and hoping for no smoke, though I hear there are still lots of smoldering logs, etc. a couple of miles away.
I see you also make fiber art - really excellent felt work - and you are also a spinner! I don't know about this 'interior design' group. Since the group specified items for the home, garden, etc., I figured that excluded me, since I only do wearables. However, since you also make wall hangings, you should qualify.

I was sad to hear about your car accident, and glad to hear that you were not hurt. Hope your hubby recovers very swiftly.
It is raining today and I am layed up again. But I love the rain and the bush is starting to show signs of wildflowers to come in spring. Even better the chooks have started laying again. And the cauliflower and brocolli in the garden are looking spectacular. Not as colourful as your cabbages though. Anyway keep in touch and keep creating. Teresa
