Thats me, I am on Dales Holey Moley and Embellish, and Ratty Tatty papers, just cant get enough, also did Maggie Greys internet stuff after her book, and Textured surfaces with Lynda Monk and Carol McPhee and Creative challenge with Shelagh Folgate, I just love it all. Thanks goodness am retired.

Sorry to hear that. I wanted to say the Quilt Show is in July not June, I saw a poster today, 3/4/5th I think. Have you looked at the Silver Thimble website, they run workshops etc? My friend had a Studio at Hutton le Hole, sorry I didnt remember meeting you. I'll let you know of anything I hear of,

I find the best way to meet like minded people is to join groups like Feltmakers Association, Spinners and Weavers or Embroiderers Guilds, most of them offer workshops and talks in a wide variety of media not just as in their title( if that makes sense) I run workshops here and people meet up that way too. I look forward to the shows in the Autumn and theres a big quilt show at Scarborough Spa in June. Its a shame I wasnt writing this last week as there was a lovely Embroidery Exhibition at the Fiends Meeting House. A new exhibition opens on June 1st at Rural Arts in Thirsk by Textillia III, which Im hoping to visit. But sadly none of these are on your doorstep. I do seem to drive a lot to visit places, hopefully may bump into you at an event.
