Here is a mixed media series - my latest creation...

I took antique book pages and painted relevant characters on them.
Next I scanned and PRINTED them on Bristol Vellum - THEN hand colored and embellished the prints to make new OOAK pieces ....
They are part of a whole vintage FAIRY TALES series...

recycling previously made/sold ACEO's - printing them on artist paper- sealing them heavily :) and mounting them to textured art paper greeting cards! (with envelopes included of course) - -ho ho ho ! :)

a work in progress / altered art mixed media necklace (based on a song by NIGHTWISH which I feature in this post) "Meadows of Heaven"...
They are a symphonic metal band from Finland - I saw them last week -- not in Findland, in Cleveland ;) ha ha

my avatar is form an original watercolor, gouache and ink - an "art squared" piece I did a couple years ago as a part of a group challenge called "body parts" where many artists contributed a body part for one unified body of art in the form of a poster :)
I created the right and left hands - "THE HANDS OF AN ARTIST"
