Creative Time and Space by Rice Freeman-Zachery
Just wanted to let my FAMM family know that I am featured in a new book that is out this month called "Creative Time and Space" by Rice Freeman-Zachery. I am honored to be one of the 14 artists Rice asked to be in her book and I got my copy today from the publisher! There is even a photo of me and Whoopi Doodle the studio poodle.

New Round of Summer ONline fiber art classes
Hey everyone,
Hope everyone is having a great summer and staying cool especially if you live near me in South Carolina. My new round of online classes start July 1st. I will be offering 3 classes. All are 6 lessons/6 weeks and the cost is $60.00 for each class. Taking sign ups now. ;)

Hey everyone,
I just got my newest Quilting Arts magazine and noticed an article about using Gel Glue Resists. If you have taken one of my classes and write an article about something you have done with one of my online lessons, the proper thing to do is give me credit for the idea. This is the 2nd article I have seen published and it is really unnerving that I would not be given credit. Just because you go in and tweak it, does not mean you are not getting around my copyright of the lesson.… Continue

Glad to be here. I went through the members listed and saw familiar names and faces. This is a nice place to be.

I will reccomend you to the director, I should have more info on the show soon, and I will be in touch!! If you know if any other artists that you would like to reccomend please pass them on to me. We have a very large space - the Art Trail Gallery is a converted department store! I'm very excited to meet you. :)

Here are my questions:
1. What people skills do you use everyday in your work to deal with others? (Colleagues, bosses, clients)
2. In your work, what % of your time are you directly interacting with others? Or, how many hours in a day if that is easier....
3. As a person preparing for a career such as yours, should a course on human relations in organizations be required? Why or why not?
I appreciate your input. This will help me also understand how to think about working in this field. I need your answers by Monday which is October 5th. I am so grateful for your time.
