About Me:
Fiber lover, anything I can get my hands on like wool, silk and alpaca. I love needle felting, and embroidery, spinning yarn and interesting novelty yarns for my needle felts. I also love embellishing my work with beads and stitches and interesting fabrics. Way back when and still occasionally, I do shibori and fabric dyeing, dyeing mostly wool nowadays. Oh and yes even addicted to traditional old crochet!

I am amazed!

I am so amazed at the amount of spots for fiber artists to show their work on the internet. Back in art school an artist had to have a show in order to have so many people viewing their work and to be known. Now it's just a click away and the whole world has access to so many talented works of all these wonderful artists here, blogging, and flickr... how did we live without it?

Hi Bina, I went to the SAIC 1981 but went again later and was definitely there in 1997! Small world! I also took classes from Ingrid Bachman but was mostly involved with graphic design, printmaking & typography. I seemed to have tried just about everthing there but the class that changed my life and has come back to "haunt" me was a textile embellishing class! Your work is wonderful and thanks for the comments about my website! Also, nice to meet you!
