I am wild about color and design. Right now, I'm into making recycled sweater bags, but I also enjoy any kind of mixed media, altered books, knitting, and acrylic painting.

You make nice bags. I like it that you recycle material. I also use recycled things and I also make bags.

Thank you so much Lori for accepting my hand in friendship and for your kind comments about my wearable art and handspun yarns. It's a wonderful thing after spinning yarn to sell the last few years, I've stopped selling my handspun (there are so many people doing such wonderful yarns!) and now I spin for myself, for projects. It's exciting to spin just the perfect yarn in the amount you need for the work at hand. I'm enjoying it very much.

I shall look forward to getting to know you better and seeing more of your work. Blessings to you,

Maitri :o)

Hi Lori, it is great to see you here! Isn't it funny to meet up as you are sending to me in the True Colors journal round robin with Traveler's H'art!!

Frequently, it's only a matter of getting a better camera! The plastic lenses on the digitals are very limiting. Though it was a big investment, a Nikon 50 took care of the problem for me. So, don't blame yourself!

thanks for being my friend here. There is a tutorial link for creating fabricpaper on my blog. But be careful: there are two parts :tutorial 1 and tutorial 2 .Its very funy to create but you need time, because the layers must dry. There are different ways of creating. My last one was acrylic painted paper, then covered with lace, then covered with organza and sewed ,then burned with the head gun.Take care Barbara
