A few things I do

I took these pictures of this squirrel retrieving a peach which had fallen on our side of the fence. As he started across the fence to the tree he dropped the peach but caught it just in time and I snapped this photo of him.

This is a wall quilt I made from pictures of my Grandmother along with all her mementos, hankies, lace, old buttons & jewelry.

A quilted jacket I made for me!!

This is Ragnor the troll doll I made last winter. He is anxiously awaiting his mate, but...........I just haven't gotten around to creating her YET!! He is getting lonely so I must get busy.

I've loaded some more pictures some of recent projects and others done a few years back.

I took the doodle class with Susan @ Joggles but it just doesn't seem to be my "thing". I'm hoping it's just "now" tha…

No Gunnel nor Eva are relatives!! The yarn around the neck of the jacket is actually a knit scarf. Also super simple to make. You take one strand of thin yarn like mohair, one strand of ribbon yarn, and one of ladderback yarn/ribbon, knit five stitches on size 15 needle when you get to the end take the 3 yarns and measure 3" fold back to the needle and tie a knot, pick up the yarns & continue to purl across to the other side, measure 3" again, fold back and tie a knot. It rolls into it's self and makes a scarf.

Do you still have family in Uppsala? We spent a day there when we were searching for my family. I notice you have a couple of Swedish folks writing to you...are they family?
The jacket sounds great! I may have to try it. Thanks for the directions. You have a lot of yarn or threads or something at the neckline. Was that easy??
