Hmmm... trying to get to The Great Library ATC Swap?

I have added links here before... I don't know why they aren't working here today. Well if you type in robinsunne.com you will get to my webpage and there is a link to the book purchasing page that will work. Or you could go to lulu.com and search for Robinsunne - me - or The Great Library ATC Swap. Good luck! It is a really fun book filled with excellent ATC ideas!

My new ATC book is published!!

My new book is out!! The Great Library ATC Swap is now available for purchase at lulu.com: The link isn't working! I will keep trying or go to robinsunne.com and click the link there. The Great Library ATC Swap is both a how-to-make-Artist-Trading-Cards book filled with deceptively simple ATC design techniques (these cards have been simple enough for young children to make, yet in the hands of skilled craftspeople I have been left breathless at their AT… Continue

Lots going on..

I have been so busy with the ATC group at the library (more info at robinsunne.com). Among other things I have been making 8 1/2" x 11" backers for ATCs. I like making many similar backers all at once and then to keep pushing a theme until I run out. Let me show you:

I'm gonna be on the radio!

Hey! On Wednesday, March 19th I will be on WERU - weru.org - to talk about ATC's and the swap group that the library and I are co-presenting. I am nervous that I will go all breathless and/or say something mixed up. Deep breath. More info about all on my website robinsunne.com Let me know if you tune in!

Thanks for accepting my friendship. Thanks for all of your compliments. I didn't realize that I had a reputation. That is hilarious! I am so honored to be in your company. Yes, I will keep abreast of your newest publication. I do know exactly what you mean about missing sewing. Since I spend most of my time with Photo Art, I took a day to work on a little quilt aceo and it was so soothing. I am almost finished with it. I will list it on fiberarts when completed. Thanks again, Diana

Oh My! You are so interesting. I have purchased a few items to start making my ATC/ACEO and have started my first one. I only found out about these little treasures 2-3 weeks ago! Will you be my friend? I will look at your blogs for ideas and how-to's. Diana Bracy

Hi Robinsunne! Thank you for the comment on my "spring". I did look at your "october bird" as well as all your other great work. I think we can agree...you can never have too much beading on a piece of fabric!:o) I love your "October Bird" especially the body of the bird - really beautiful work.

Happy New Year! I am done with our gallery and it was a BLAST! I want to share, a wonderful lady dropped off braille books for me to use in some of my next pieces...it's wonderful paper! It's cold and frosty here but I can't wait to work in the art room! Ruby

Robinsunne,

Thank you so much for accepting my hand in friendship. Isn't crochet wonderful? I just wrote a piece on my blog last week that freeform crochet is like painting with fiber and it truly is.

I'll look forward to seeing your book. My last publication was called "The Contemplative Way ~ Slowing Down In A Modern World" and was published for over 3 years, on all blue paper, with lots of Victorian artwork and hundreds of quotes and was all put together by hand. It was before I was on the net in the mid 90's and it was a 100 page quarterly, hand-assembled and I had about 15 writers that wrote regularly with me. I loved it but the financial struggle in the end is what got me. That's why I'm looking forward to using lulu.com under the auspices of "Dragonfly Cottage Press," and I will publish small books through lulu and I have an agent waiting for a bigger book I'm writing about life at Dragonfly Cottage.

I can't wait to see your etsy store. In fact I'm going there right now!

Blessings,

Maitri

I just was at an interesting website: lulu.com They publish books - both in hardcopy and as downloads. There were many books in the crafts section with patterns and instructions to do all kinds of needle and fiberwork.
The possibilities are just astounding!
